2nd Hand Uniform Sale
If you’d like to pick up a bargin or you have good quality current uniform items to sell or swap, this is the event for you!
The sale will be held in The Pavilion, number 19 as shown on this map, with easy parking beside the venue. Doors will open promptly at 9am for both sellers and buyers and the sale will close at 10.30am sharp.
Sellers MUST have small denominations of cash ($1, $2, $5, $10, & $20) on hand to make change with potential buyers.
STEP 1: Ensure each garment you wish to sell is a current style, is clean and labelled with the size and price clearly visible. Spare labels and safety pins will be on hand if needed.
STEP 2: Bring the uniforms you wish to sell in a basket/box or shopping bag with your name on it.
STEP 3: Find a free space on a trestle table and set out your items, stand nearby ready for buyers to walk past and view your garments. Sellers are responsible for their own garments. Sellers cannot leave uniform items, basket/box or bags unattended.
STEP 4: If a potential buyer wishes to purchase one or more of your garments, sellers negotiate the price directly with potential buyers and handle the transaction in cash.
Buyers should bring small denominations of cash ($1, $2, $5, $10, $20) to purchase items as EFTPOS will NOT be available.
STEP 1: Stroll past trestle tables to browse available items. Know the style and size of uniform items you need for your child before starting a conversation with a seller.
STEP 2: Buyers will need to shop and negotiate with the various individual sellers at trestle tables to determine if the quality of uniform is acceptable and the price is reasonable. The Pavilion toilets will be open for students to try on uniform items. Students must be supervised by their parents at all times if trying on sale items in The Pavilion toilets.
STEP 3: If buyers are happy with the sellers’ garment, the buyer pays cash direct to the seller.
STEP 4: Purchases of second-hand items are at the buyer’s own risk; the College takes no responsibility for sellers or sale items.
