Transport

Trinity College co-ordinates with private bus companies and the Department for Education to provide transportation for students to and from school.

Students in Year 3 and below must be met by an adult when they are let off the bus. If an adult cannot meet the bus for any unexpected reason, the student/s will remain on the bus and the bus company will contact families using the information linked to the student's smartcard. If you need your child/children to be let off the bus without an adult present, please send an email attention to the Director of Business Operations & Administration at reception@trinity.sa.edu.au.

The Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure (DPTI) provides guidelines for the provision of school bus stops on roads under its care, control and management.

  • A 25km/h speed limit applies in South Australia with passing a school bus that has stopped for the purpose of picking up or dropping off children.
  • A school bus is a bus that displays the warning signs and flashing lights required by the vehicle standards for buses used mainly for carrying children.
  • Contact South Australian Police (SAPOL) Traffic Watch on 131 444 to report dangerous driving.

Please refer to the bus company heading for specific details about routes, fares, timetables, registration and ticket purchasing.
