Trinity College Roseworthy - FAQs

Trinity College is very excited about our new school at Roseworthy which will open at the start of 2024 for Preschool to Year 4 students.

Being among the first students at a brand-new school is something very special and unique. Interest for enrolment has already been really positive.

Yes it will. Our Middle School will commence in 2027 when the inaugural Year 4 class will have moved through to Year 7.

Students joining Roseworthy in the 2024 intake from Year 4 and below will be able to complete their schooling on this site up until the end of Year 10 when they move across to Trinity Senior with their peers from the other Trinity schools.

Yes they can. At Trinity, once a child joins a specific school, they generally remain at that school until they move to Trinity College Senior for Years 11 and 12. We are however, offering a one-off opportunity to transfer to Trinity College Roseworthy when it opens in 2024.

We appreciate that most families are happy at their current school and will prefer to remain there. For some, the opportunity to transfer to Trinity College Roseworthy might suit them better, due to location, work or transport. For Trinity students transferring to Roseworthy in the initial 2024 intake, we will exchange your current school shirts and collars on dresses for new Roseworthy ones, free of charge.

By early 2024, state-of-the-art classrooms, administration and the library will be available. As will a purpose-built gymnasium, preschool, canteen, OSHC, nature-play playground, courts, soccer and AFL/cricket ovals.

The only remaining building to be added in future years will be one dedicated to the Middle School students. Essentially, all physical features will be available in the first year.

Trinity College Roseworthy will eventually be a Preschool to Year 10 school, split into Junior and Middle Schools, and will operate in exactly the same manner as our current schools at Blakeview, Gawler River, North and South. Once enrolled at Roseworthy, a full transition programme will be provided.

Yes you can. Families can visit the Roseworthy page on our website to see the site plan and view the incredible 3D fly-through, displaying all the key physical features.

The Principal will be appointed during Term 2, 2023 and the new school will be primarily staffed with current Trinity staff who will relocate from our other schools. This will ensure that the high-quality teaching programmes, excellent Pastoral Care systems and high standards are in place from day one.

To support families from day one, Out of School Hours Care (OSHC) will operate as it does at our other schools. You can learn more about these services and costs here, as a guide.

Bus services will progressively integrate into the local system and afterschool co-curricular transport will be provided as the students get older and access more things at the Evanston South site.

This new school includes specialist STEM areas for robotics and science; Art and Music areas and catering facilities.

From day one, Roseworthy students will have full access to all College opportunities, including our outdoor education site at Blackham, the Innovation and Creativity School, our amazing new theatre which will open in September 2023 and of course STARplex.

The full suite of Trinity curricular and co-curricular opportunities will be provided. There will be sport, various clubs, choirs and music ensembles that the Roseworthy students can join as part of the co-curricular offerings.

Yes, students who attend Roseworthy will receive the same access to support for their learning requirements. Trinity College staff undertake important professional development to assist our students including dyslexia awareness, Positive Wellbeing, Friendship 101, etc.

A full transition programme will be provided. In September of 2023 we will host a meet and greet of the new staff and Principal and visit the new Roseworthy School during Term 4. We expect to host transition days later in Term 4 with staff, as is the traditional Trinity College experience.

Please contact our enrolment team on 8522 0666 if you are interested or have any questions regarding this Roseworthy opportunity.
