Trinity Teams Excel at Annual Pétanque Tournament

On Thursday evening last week, nine teams represented Trinity College at the annual South Australian French Teachers Association (SAFTA) schools Pétanque competition.

Of the four primary school teams, two teams made it through to the semi-finals, one from South and one from Gawler River. Unfortunately, these teams had to play each other to make it through to the finals and the South team of Olivia, Matilda, Annabelle and Mishri prevailed. These students went on to win the final against Mercedes College.

Four of our secondary school teams managed to make it to the quarter finals and two to the semi-finals (teams from Gawler River and South). The South team of Mitchell, Bob and Dominic lost in the final to a strong team from Renmark.

Our thanks go to the students, who represented Trinity superbly and to the parents who supported the students on the night.
