Trinity College Roseworthy Officially Open

In the year that Trinity College is celebrating 40 years of operation, in the afternoon of Thursday 4 April, current and former staff, students, families, old scholars, special guests and dignitaries gathered in Roseworthy for a formal ceremony to officially open the sixth and newest Trinity College school.

The new state-of-the art school, Trinity College Roseworthy that includes an Early Learning Centre, welcomed its first students on the first day of term this year. Currently students in Early Years to Year 4 are enrolled but, the school will eventually cater for students up to Year 10.

Honoured guests in attendance included The Most Reverend Geoffrey Smith, Archbishop of Adelaide, Federal Member for Grey, Mr Rowan Ramsay MP, Member for Light, The Honourable Tony Piccolo MP, The Member for Frome, Ms Penny Pratt MP, The Mayor of Light Regional Council, Bill O’Brien and Senior Kaurna Man, Uncle Mickey O'Brien.

Following the short ceremony and a commemorative cake cutting, the school remained open and guests and visitors were able to browse through classrooms enjoying delightful displays and student performances.
