Students Shine at RoboCup

Year 4 students from Blakeview recently visited Flinders University to participate in the RoboCup SA Sumomania competition.

The event attracts entrants from schools across the city allowing participants to showcase creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through robotics.

As part of their Year 4 Design and Digital technologies program, the students had learnt programming in Term 3 and design in Term 4. During the event the students demonstrated incredible effort and enthusiasm with multiple teams competing in different divisions with some great results. 

Congratulations to Angus, Emma, and Lottie B who were crowned Standard Division Champions and Ryan, Maddie, and Seb who finished in fourth in the Featherweight Division Achievement a fantastic result in a highly competitive category.
