Open Day Art Competition Winners

Congratulations to Amber Faast (Year 5) on her winning entry in the first Blackham Environmental and Conservation Centre (BECC) Open Day Art Competition.

Amber's creative piece used thick Eucalyptus bark and leaves, Casuarina branchlets and featured two of the endangered species that call Blackham home', the Pink-lipped Spider Orchid and the Black Tailed Kite.

We would also like to extend our thanks to all the competition entrants for the time and effort they put into their art pieces. Our Open Day stand looked amazing, featuring your creative work. Special thanks also to the class teachers for their encouragement and support for this Open Day initiative. We look forward to another competition in 2023!
