Well Done Trinity – Light it Red for Dyslexia

September 29, 2018

During October all Trinity College schools participated in Dyslexia Awareness Month and on Friday 26 October, all students celebrated Light it Red for Dyslexia.

During the October teachers shared professional articles daily with updated information about dyslexia type learning needs, identification and strategies of best practice.

Light it Red for Dyslexia is a national initiative to raise awareness of dyslexia. All Trinity schools participated with students invited to wear something red, red paper plane making and throwing, red cupcakes, red decorations around the schools and red electronic displays. During all these activities older students worked with younger students to help organise competitions and promote awareness.

Thanks to Northern Area and Barossa Dyslexia Group (NAAB) for their support of this annual event.
