Connecting Education with Industry

August 21, 2026

From servicing and repairs to diagnostics and technical skills, students gained valuable insight into the many career pathways available in the automotive industry when a group of VET students visited Peter Kittle Toyota to gain real-world automotive experience.

The visit was a great opportunity to step outside the classroom and into a commercial workshop environment to observe automotive skills and knowledge in action. Students listened, observed and asked questions while discovering more about working in the automotive industry.

Watching, learning and discovering new possibilities. The experience was a fantastic day of industry engagement and a valuable experience that helped our students connect what they’re learning with the possibilities available beyond school and may just inspire some of our future automotive professionals!
