Chinese Language Awards

At the Chinese Language Teachers Association of South Australia (CLTASA) annual awards held last Friday, Riley Sims (Year 11). Zara Fisher (Year 9). Max Jamieson-Colmer (Year 9), Chloe Dilena (Year 6), Rhys Young (Year 10) and Taranpreet Grover (Year 6) received excellence awards for their achievement and efforts in Chinese language and cultural studies this year

The 2022 ceremony was held at Seymour College and was a wonderful occasion. There were many Chinese teachers, award recipients and their family members present as well as some local state politicians and school principals.

CLTASA aims to promote learning the Chinese language and culture in South Australia and supports teachers of Chinese in establishing and sustaining quality Chinese programs by providing professional development opportunities and acting as teachers' voices concerning curriculum, projects, language events and financial support.

The event was very successful and it was a great opportunity for our students to meet and communicate with other students from other schools.
