Blakeview Students Give Gawler a Blue Tree

April 18, 2024

Trinity College Blakeview students from Jamieson House spent their recent Service Day establishing a Blue Tree in Gawler.

Acting as a source of conversation that helps save lives. The blue trees are visual reminders to check in on loved ones and mates who might be struggling.

The Blue Tree Project was founded with a mission to help spark difficult conversations and encourage people to speak up when experiencing mental health concerns. Blue trees are dotted across most continents of the world and are both beacons of hope and conversation starters.

Trinity College Blakeview students send their sincere thanks to The Town of Gawler and Mayor Karen Redman for granting us permission to paint this tree and Mitre 10 Gawler for their kind donation of the ‘Blue Tree’ paint.
