SACE Merit Certificate Ceremony

2017 was an extraordinary year with an impressive 20 students attaining an ATAR above 97 placing them in the top three percent nationally (a College record) and 45 students attained an ATAR above 90.

Trinity students collectively attained 28 merits (a perfect score) and this outstanding academic achievement was recognised at the 30th SACE Merit Ceremony on Tuesday 6 February. The event held at Government House, saw 920 students awarded 1196 subject merits for outstanding achievement in Stage 2 subjects.

Also announced at this ceremony were the subject prize winners for the number one student in that course. Current student Jennifer-Diep Trang was awarded the overall French prize. Jennifer was in Year 11 last year while studying Year 12 French. For a Year 11 student to be the number one student in the state, in their subject, is remarkable. Congratulations to Jennifer and our languages faculty.
