Roseworthy 125th Anniversary Celebrations

The Advanced Concert Band, along with Rachel Wardle (Yr 7), Stephanie Antonopoulos (Yr 7) and Channing Collier-Nedd (Yr 8) as the featured soloists, gave a brilliant performance demonstrating some of the finest
musical talent Trinity North has to offer, at the recent Roseworthy 125th Anniversary Celebrations and Open Day. Our students performed remarkably well and many parents were also there to offer support on
the day. The contribution of the students and the support given by the parents was very much appreciated.
We have had some very positive feedback about the performance and we are very proud of every student for their outstanding contribution to this exciting event. Thank you to all who were involved.

"Frocks & Fillies" Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon

A great day was had by all at the North and Blakeview Parents & Friends “Frocks & Fillies” Melbourne Cup Day Luncheon. We had about 120 in attendance, with 8 trade stands and 6 main advertising sponsors.
Our luncheon was superbly catered for by Stuart Oldfield of Handmade Catering and expertly served by the North Year 9 & 10 Catering students, under the leadership of Ms Vicki Lester.
It was fabulous to see so many ladies in hats and fascinators, over 50 of which entered the Glamorous Headwear Competition. The best headwear was judged by our MC, Xavier Minnecon from Channel Nine. Xavier was a wonderful MC and delightful guest.
Other major highlights of the day were the Blakeview Junior Choir and
our special guest speaker, the wonderfully inspirational Mrs Janel Green,
Blakeview mum and Breast Cancer survivor. We also heard from National
Breast Cancer Foundation ambassador Jan Davies.
The bar facility was brilliantly tended by David Brad shaw, Paul Holton & Grant Cooke. Thanks boys, you looked great in your pink ties!
Sincere thanks to the combined efforts of both North & Blakeview Parents & Friends groups for coordinating such a great event for such a worthwhile cause. By working together on this project the two groups really achieved a feeling of ‘Building Community’, which of course has been our motto this year.
And of course, a big thanks to all the people who attended and helped to make the day so memorable.
Your support and generosity is very much appreciated.
