Do you fit the picture?

Annually the Trinity College Foundation presents Awards of Excellence to students who have shown commitment and achievement in their field of endeavour.  

Students participating in local, state, national or international events or have received recognition of merit by the College in an academic, performing arts or sports competition are eligible to apply.

Library News

Premier's Reading Challenge

Kindly be advised, there will be a special presentation assembly on Monday 17th of November at 9-55am to award all participating children their certificates and medals. Parents and caregivers are invited to come along.

MS Readathon

We have received a certificate of appreciation from the MS Readathon, thanking the children from Trinity College Gawler River who participated. Together, these students raised $166. Congratulations to all of those involved.

Library Bags

Please ensure that all children have a suitable library bag, reader bag or plastic bag (plastic bags are no longer available from the library) with them on their library borrowing days. This ensures that our books are being looked after and are not being returned damaged.

Gawler River Wakakirri

Our Wakakirri team performed in the State Grand Final in Division Two of the Performing and Visual Arts Festival at Her Majesty's Theatre on October 22. Our school's performance, "The Great Barrier Bleach", was outstanding and received a wonderful ovation from the audience. It was equally recognised by the judges by being awarded with overall third placing. This is wonderful result, with congratulations extended to the entire Wakakirri Team.

Ye Olde Twilight Picnic

Gawler River Parents & Friends Ye Olde Twilight Picnic will be held at Gawler River School on Friday November 28 from 5:30pm.
A delicious meal of roast lamb and baked potato will be served at 6:30pm with a sausage sizzle for the children. Soft drinks and water will be available for purchase. There will be old fashioned games, music, an ice-cream van and an appearance by Father Christmas.
Minimum entry cost is $10 (this covers up to 2 adults and 2 children) and additional $2 per person is required for numbers greater than 4.
Bring your owon deck chair and esky (byo) and lots of family and friends.

Entertainment Books

For all of you who enjoy getting out and about, and getting value for money, this book is for you.  Cost: $65 each.  They are available at the Front Office or by phoning Marlene 0408 897 407.
