Waiting Lists

Waiting Lists and Enrolment

Trinity College is located in a rapidly developing community with many young families moving into the vast array of new sub-divisions.  We recommend you call our Enrolments Office to ask about vacancies that currently exist and year levels that may have waiting lists.

Major intakes occur at Early Years (Reception), Year 7, Year 8 and Year 11.

To avoid disappointment, we encourage families to apply early for Early Years (Reception) enrolment.

The Year 7 and Year 8 intakes are offered two years in advance. Intake into Trinity College Senior for Year 11 or Year 12 is offered in the prior year. Early application is encouraged to allow your child to take full advantage of the considerable range of courses and subjects on offer.

Vacancies can occur at other year levels as current students leave. These places are filled from the waiting list.

We encourage all prospective families to visit the College during one of our term tours or at Open Day. Bookings are essential please contact the Enrolments Office.

One College Five Schools

We are open to all who would like their children educated in a liberal and Anglican tradition regardless of their economic status or religious affiliation.

This philosophy remains true to the vision of the school's founders – a group of Anglican parishioners from Gawler who established a "College of Excellence open to all in a caring, Christian environment".

From these humble beginnings in the early 1980's, the College has become one of the State's leading independent schools, widely recognised for its high quality academic and vocational programs, excellent staff, nurturing environment and superb facilities.

Spanning five schools and a Montessori Preschool, Trinity College currently supports 2,500 families, with 3,600 students from Kindergarten to Year 12.

We are committed to tailoring stimulating and challenging educational courses to suit the needs of individual students, catering for a variety of learning styles through programs
which support special learning needs, gifted and talented students.

All students at Trinity College study a common curriculum from Reception to Year 10 which includes religion and values education.

The educational program in the early and middle years places particular emphasis on the basic skills of literacy and numeracy in order to secure the foundations for success in future years.

At Trinity College Senior, students are able to pursue a wide range of individual interests through programs of study which include academic courses, vocational pathways or a combination of the two.

Ethos

Based on the philosophy that educating students is a privilege and that teaching students is a vocation, Trinity College is committed to providing the highest quality education for all students.

We are open to all who want their children educated in a liberal and Christian tradition, regardless of their religious affiliation. This philosophy remains true to the vision of the school's founders; a group of Anglican parishioners from Gawler who wanted to establish a college of excellence open to all in a caring Christian environment.

From these humble beginnings in the early 1980s, the College has become one of Australia's largest leading independent schools, widely recognised for its high quality academic, vocational, sporting and co-curricular programmes, excellent staff, nurturing environment and superb facilities.

Spanning five schools, Trinity College currently supports 2,600 families, with children in Reception to Year 12.

One College, Five Schools
At Trinity College students get the best of all worlds. They receive the benefits and facilities of a large modern college, along with the personalised and individual attention traditionally associated with smaller schools.

Our five schools (Senior, Blakeview, Gawler River, North, South and our Montessori Preschool) feature state-of-the-art facilities, modern comfortable classrooms and landscaped grounds. There is also plenty of room to move; the North and South schools are located on 100 acres, and Blakeview and Gawler River are situated on over 20 acres each.

Each school has its own full-time staff, ensuring your child receives special care and attention, no matter which school he or she attends.

To assist our families the school day alters slightly between our five schools. For further information please refer to the 2017 Parent Handbook.
