2009 Trinity College Foundation Golf Day 

15 Teams teed off in perfect weather at Tanunda Pines for the 2009 Trinity College Foundation Golf Day.
This year the Foundation decided to add some extra incentives by securing Hole in One Insurance with assistance from Elders Insurance.  Players had the opportunity to win a car if they were successful with a hole in one. One player just missed out!
A nearest to the pin cash prize was also up for grabs and attracted quite a bit of interest. Thank you to Petter Kittle Toyota for displaying the car on the day.
The winning team this year was Elders with Architectual Hardware second and Clayton Hentschke third. The wooden spoon award went to Konica Minolta. The nearest to the pin awards were won by Damien Goode, Michael Watson and Greg Barraclough. The longest drive awards went to Jeremy Clapp and Michael Watson.

Foundation Scholarship of Excellence

Congratulations to Matthew Arnold (Trinity College South) and Katie Wright (Caritas College Port Augusta) who are the recipients of the 2009 Foundation Scholarship of Excellence.

The Scholarship of Excellence is awarded to students entering Year 11 and is a 2 year scholarship for full tuition of fees including the cost of books.

The scholarship is for a student who will major in Information Technology at University and will be offered in 2009 for the first time to a Trinity College student entering Year 11. The scholarship entitles the successful applicant to full Tuition fees for Years 11 & 12.
